Foul Players: A Brindlewood Bay Mystery
A downloadable game
Foul Players is a mystery written for use with the role-playing game Brindlewood Bay. You can purchase the core game on DriveThru RPG.
Local theater group Brindlewood Amateur Dramatics (BAD) have been rehearsing a new original musical about the town’s history: “The Good Ol’ Bay: From Then to Today” written by a local amateur historian. BAD is a small set company of actors with a headstrong artistic director and a converted barn on the edge of town they can do with as they please. Buzz is building for this particular show as the gossip alleges several of the historic incidents that will be depicted recall scandalous (and hopefully apocryphal!) events in Brindlewood Bay’s past. A death during rehearsals for the show sets the Murder Mavens' alarm bells ringing. Was this just an accident? Or was this foul play by some Foul Players??
This mystery provides plenty of opportunity for theater-related hijinks and revelations of town history. Expand the lore of your campaign or audition it as a colorful one-off. Break a leg!
